Kenneth William Moore, 79, of Powhatan, departed this life February 21, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne Moore; parents, Ruth and Jessie Moore; brother, Melvin Moore and son Kenneth Moore, Jr. He is survived by one sister, Maxine Rose (Sam); three grandchildren, Ashley Moore, Taylor Bailey and Cody Moore; one great-grandson, Javari Mayo; special friends, Angel Skelton, Michael Dolin and Brenda Caurnour. The family will receive friends Friday, from 10 am to 11am at Graceland Baptist Church, followed with a funeral service at 11 am. Interment church cemetery.
