Thomas Wayne Barden, 28, of Powhatan, passed away December 11, 2016. He is survived by a loving girlfriend, Rebecca Eads; parents, Donna Gale Barden and Tommy W. Barden; paternal grandmother, Barbara Barden of Powhatan, and many uncles, aunts and cousins. Thomas had a passion for three other things in life: racing, fishing and dogs. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2pm in the Graceland Baptist Church. Interment church cemetery. Casual attire is requested. In lieu of flowers, bring a toy to the funeral home for the Powhatan Christmas Mother, or contribute to the Richmond Animal League, 11401 International Dr., N. Chesterfield 23236.
