Cassie Beulah "Granny" Osborne, 90, widow of Stanford C. Osborne, of Powhatan, died June 29, 2010.
She was a loving mom to six daughters, Pat and Mike Whittaker, Joyce and Ray Hooper, Mary Ann and Bobby Stockner, Debbie and Chuck Zacharias, Lynn and Donnie Moore, and Betty Jane and Sonny Walters; and Granny to nine grandchildren, Becky Wells, Rusty Stockner, Carl Tomlin, Chris Hooper, Sammy Frame, Cale Hooper, Trey Moore, Hunter Frame, Jessica Walters, and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Ed, and four sisters, Ocie, May, Carrie, and Marie..
The family received friends Wednesday at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rte. 60), Powhatan.
Funeral services were held Thursday at Graceland Baptist Church. Interment church cemetery.
