Rev. Jonathan Tombley (JT), is from Victoria, Texas though he only lived there for a short time before moving to Newport News, VA where his Father pastored a church for 14 years. Spending a lot of his early life serving in different areas of the church he developed a love for Christ and the Church. God called him to youth ministries during his teen years and at 17 he started working at Christian camps.
Jonathan attended MSU-WP (Missouri State University West Plains) for two years for a degree in Child and family Development which he is still working towards and plans to get his Masters in CFD. Jonathan also spent many years learning other skills like sailing (A favorite pass time of his), and other outdoor skills like camping. Many of these skills he used in his outdoor youth ministries.
Jonathan is the second oldest of 9 kids, 5 boys, and 4 girls, as well as two sister-in-laws. They are a close family and all of them in some way currently serve in ministry. His parents, Ken and Kathy, now live on a farm in MO and use it as a couple counseling retreat.
Jonathan has been working in youth ministries for the last 10 years, and will be for the foreseeable future.
